At 1,191 metres long with a 135-metre pylon, Kruunuvuorensilta is now Finland’s longest and tallest bridge — carrying only pedestrians, cyclists, and (from next year) trams.
It cut the commute from Kruunuvuorenranta to central Helsinki from 11 kilometres to about 5.5, and drew more than 50,000 visitors in its opening weekend in April 2026.
